when i was 16

When I was 16 I started hanging out with my dad's (frankie actually step dad but is really the only dad i have ever had) friend Edmond, who happened to be 26. Anyways one night we fooled around we both thought it was going to end up being a one time thing. Well 5 months later I found out i was pregnant. I didn't know before that because I was on the Depo shot. Anyways I had a complicated pregnancy I had preclampseia so I ended up having to be induced at 36 weeks and after 18 hours of labor she was coming out with her hand on top of her head which would have broke her arm so I had to have a c-section. She came out healthy weighing 4lbs. 8oz. and 21in. long. I named her Summer. Her birth date is 5/28/08. Anyways I tryed to hide who her daddy was because of his age I was scared he would get in trouble but the older she got the more she looked like him so I figured I would start taking her to his house so they could bond. Which they did but me and him did to. So we started dating and after 3 months of dating I moved in with him. At this point Summer was about a year old. We lived together for about a year and started having problems so we were off and for a while. The first time we split Summer was about 2. We got back together around a month later and wasn't back together 2 months and found out I was pregnant with identical twins. Which was a shock I knew I was pregnant before I went to the doctor. I had a lot of symptoms, but i would have never in a million years thought I would be pregnant with twins. We were still having problems so a week after we found out about the twins we split again but didn't stay away from each other for long, but after a couple months we were still fighting pretty bad (not physical or anything but stressful) so I left. We still talked and he got to see Summer and i kept him updated on the twins. At 20 weeks pregnant I found out Hailey was sick. At first they told me I wouldn't even carry her to birth that she would die in utero. Well after my dr. got the ultrasound and looked at it his self he said it wasnt as bad as first thought but it was still bad. She was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus. Which is fluid on the brain. So my dr sent me to a bigger hospital in charleston WV. I live in WV but I live in a very small town. We dont even have a grocery store. Its on the border of WV and KY. The town in KY is small too my doctor was there. Anyways from then out i had to go to my regular doctor in KY and the doctor in Charelston once a week on top of going for ultrasounds every week. They were just monitoring her growth and making sure she was doing ok. The cant really tell much about Hydro while you are still pregnant all they can do is test to see if they can find the cause which of course they couldn't. Then when i was about 30 weeks pregnant me and Edmond decided we should try to be together at least once more. Ok so we cant stay away from each other we truly love each other. Then at 33 weeks i went into early labor so my doctor in KY sent me to the university of kentucky hospital. So I started going there to the doctor. Which is like 4 hours from where i live it was hard. Then they scheduled my c-section for 11/29/10. Alexis Nicole weighed 4lbs. 14oz. and was 19in. long she had to have oxygen for about five minutes but was fine and got to be in the regular nursery. Hailey Allison weighed 5lbs 3oz and was 17 3/4 in long her head was  39.5 cm. They took her straight to the NICU. I couldnt go see her cause i wasnt aloud out of bed so they let my mom go see her for a few minutes to ease my mind. She done good she didnt need oxygen or anything. She had bilateral club feet and a little jaundice. She couldnt eat from a bottle so she had to have a tube. They placed her shunt at 3 days old which happened to be the day they were sending me and lexi home. They let me stay til after her surgery so i could make sure she was ok. Then I had to leave and come home which just about killed me. I hated leaving her like that but I had to come home to heal myself. So i called every night and it was driving me crazy not being able to be with her. I finally got to go see her when she was a week old. On the way there the car broke down and it took every penny i had to see her. But i was not coming back without seeing her. So after the 4 hour drive there plus the 2 hours we were broke down. I got to see her for around 30 minutes then had to leave her again which broke my heart all over. I finally got to have her moved to a hospital around 30 minutes from where i live when she was a month old and I hadn't seen her since she was a week old i was so happy to finally get to see and hold my baby girl. She had to stay in the hospital there for 3 more weeks until she could suck a bottle. They casts her feet twice before she came home to start treating her club feet. I was so happy to finally bring Hailey home. I was glad she was finally back with her sister and that Summer finally got to see her. the first time Summer saw her she was at my moms asleep and I put Hailey beside her and woke her up at first she thought it was Lexi and I told her it was Hailey and her face lit up. Ill never forget that moment. Then on 02/04/11 me and Edmond got married. It was one of the happiest days of my life. Everything has been pretty calm. We mainly stay home and take care of our kids. Hailey has been doin pretty good. They got her feet turned out and put her in special shoes she wears them 23 hours a day but she is getting ready to have them took off. She will have to wear them anytime she sleeps til she is 3. She recently went to the eye dr and she is almost blind in here right eye so they are patching her left eye to make her brain use her right eye. then they will do surgery to straighten her eyes they are crossed. Her eye doctor also thinks she might be havin seizures so she is sending her to another doctor to be checked out. Well that is all for now.
